Recognizing that not all holidays mean a day off work in numerous industries that rely on public transit, Metro earlier this year reinvented its approach to holiday service.

From Saturday, Dec. 10 through Sunday, Dec. 25, two decorated holiday buses will circulate Metro’s fixed routes. If one of these buses arrives on your route, that trip’s on us!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year to go Metro! Throughout the month of December, Metro has multiple promotions planned to make your holiday season merry and bright.

In observance of Thanksgiving Day, all Metro fixed routes will operate on their Sunday schedules on Thursday, Nov. 24. Metro’s admin offices will reopen on Nov. 25.

Shop local and avoid the hassles of traffic and parking this year with free fares on all Metro and Access paratransit rides on Black Friday, Nov. 25.

The five-phase Reinventing Metro plan will enter its second phase next month with a series of major service updates planned to go into effect on Sunday, Dec. 4.

The organization announced the award and recognized Mr. Haley at its annual Blacksmith Awards ceremony and chapter banquet Wednesday evening.

Securing this funding will allow Metro to continue delivering on the promise of Issue 7 and Reinventing Metro to provide more robust, convenient transit access throughout more of Hamilton County.

All active, reserve and retired military members can ride Metro and Access paratransit fare-free with a valid ID indicating military status on Veterans Day.
