Amenities and Partnerships
Metro continuously strives to better serve its customers and improve transit options for the region. In addition to rolling out new rider amenities, Metro works to secure funding and partnerships to execute large-scale projects to benefit the region.
Transit Centers
In addition to the Northside Transit Center, which opened in October 2020, Metro is considering several new transit centers as part of Reinventing Metro. Studies are underway for potential transit centers in Walnut Hills, North College Hill and the Uptown area.
As Metro plans for new transit centers, the transit agency also looks to expand its park & ride offerings. The Northside Transit Center features 10 park & ride spaces for commuters, as well as a charging station for electric vehicles. The transit center also offers wayfinding maps, real-time electronic signs and a ticket vending machine.
Metro’s existing transit centers include:
- Government Square – Downtown
- Glenway Crossing Transit Center – West Side
- Oakley Transit Center – East Side
- Northside Transit Center
- Riverfront Transit Center
- The Uptown Transit District – Serving the University of Cincinnati, area hospitals and the Uptown Business District
