Metro is continuously striving to better serve its customers and improve transit options for the region. In addition to rolling out new rider amenities, Metro works to secure funding and partnerships to execute large-scale projects to benefit the region.
In addition to the Northside Transit Center, which opened in October 2020, several new transit centers are being considered as part of the Reinventing Metro plan. At this time, plans are being studied for transit centers in Walnut Hills, North College Hill and the Uptown area.
Metro’s existing transit centers include:
- Government Square - Downtown
- Glenway Crossing Transit Center - West Side
- Oakley Transit Center – East Side
- Northside Transit Center
- The Uptown Transit District – Serving the University of Cincinnati, Hospitals and the Uptown Business District
