Stuff The Bus’: Metro To Deliver Holiday Cheer To Children In Need

Two events are planned for Saturday, Dec. 4 and Saturday, Dec. 11.

CINCINNATI – Metro is pleased to have multiple opportunities this holiday season to “Stuff the Bus” and deliver toys and other items to local children in need.

“At the heart of Metro’s mission is to improve the lives of people living in Hamilton County and connect them to the resources they need to thrive,” said Metro CEO and General Manager Darryl Haley. “Events and partnerships like these, that help spread joy and happiness throughout the community, are small steps we can take to give back and say thank you.”

Metro will provide buses for two events over the next two weekends, benefitting two organizations serving our community:

Hamilton County Job and Family Services Toy Drive: Saturday Dec. 4, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Volunteers will be on hand to accept donations of unwrapped toys, coats, hats, gloves and other seasonal items. Donations can be made at one of two locations:
     – Oakley Transit Center, located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Isben and Marburg avenues
     – Northside Transit Center, located on Spring Grove Avenue between Crosby and Blue Rock

“2021 Livest Toy Drive” w/ DJ J. Dough: Saturday, Dec. 11, 12-4 p.m. Volunteers will be on hand to accept donations of toys and other gift items. Donations can be made at the Evanston Rec Center, located at 3204 Woodburn Avenue.
