Stay Informed with Real-Time Service Alerts through the Transit App
Starting June 30, 2025
Metro is moving all route alerts to the Transit App starting June 30
Beginning June 30, 2025, Metro will deliver service alerts through the Transit App, a free mobile tool that helps you plan your trips, track buses in real time, and receive updates tailored to your favorite routes.
The current EZAlerts system will be retired on July 14, download the Transit App and pin your lines to continue receiving notifications!
GETTING STARTED WITH TRANSIT APP ALERTS
Select Your Route
After opening the Transit App, tap to select your frequently used routes.Â
Pin Your Route
After selecting your route, pin the route by tapping the the thumb tack icon.
Get Alerts
Select your timing preference, and you are all set to receive route alerts. If there is a distruption in service for this route, you will receive a notification from the Transit App.
View and Update Your Favorite Routes
Locate Your Pinned Routes
Open settings in the upper left hand corner of the Transit App, scroll down to Favorites, and tap Transit Lines.
Update Your Preferences
Adjust your service alert settings or unpin any routes you no longer wish to receive notifications for.
