Metro bus operator pay begins at $16 per hour for trainees, with the potential to earn top operator pay of more than $27 per hour within five years. Metro also provides comprehensive health and dental benefits, retirement benefits, and free transportation passes for a spouse and dependents.
New operators hired before May 31 will be eligible to receive up to a $1,000 hiring bonus upon the successful completion of their trial trip and probationary period.
Those interested in becoming a Metro operator should complete an application online at go-metro.com/careers. All candidates who meet the minimum qualifications will receive an invitation to participate in the next upcoming virtual career fair and instructions on how to join the virtual meeting.
