Vendors & suppliers who bring toys for children in need could have their business advertised on Metro bus.

CINCINNATI – Come learn more about how to do business with Metro during our ‘Reinventing Metro Means Business Expo’ on Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. at the TQL Stadium, 1501 Central Parkway (First Financial Club).

With numerous major projects and ample business opportunities available, Metro is inviting a diverse group of suppliers and businesses to learn more about upcoming bid opportunities and how to become a partner with Metro and other local agencies.

“We’ve been very intentional in our efforts to grow our business and vendor partners, especially in the small and disadvantaged business sector,” said Brandy Jones, Metro’s Senior Vice President of External Affairs. “These vendor fairs offer local businesses a great opportunity to meet our team, learn about our procurement process and ultimately increase their odds of obtaining contracts with organizations in our sector.”

Attendees who bring toys to help Metro Stuff-a-Bus for kids in needs during the holiday season will be entered into a drawing to receive a free Metro bus wrap advertisement ($14,000 value). Participants will receive one entry for every toy donated. Donated toys will be distributed to Cincinnati Public Schools for the holiday.

The business expo is free and open to all types of enterprises (certified or not) and includes a complimentary breakfast and lunch. Those interested in attending may register here.

The event will also feature resources and information from the U.S. Small Business Administration Columbus District Office, Women’s Business Enterprise Council Ohio River Valley, and the Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council. Businesses will also have the opportunity to network with partners such as Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library, The African American Chamber of Greater Cincinnati – Northern Kentucky, Fifth Third Bank and more.
