Metro is seeking public feedback on upcoming route alignment and service changes
Metro Looks to Add New Blue Ash-Silverton Route & More Improvements During Fall Service Changes

As part of Phase IV of Reinventing Metro, Metro is hosting a series of public meetings to gather feedback on proposed service improvements for Fall 2025. Among the highlights is the proposed launch of the new Rt. 8 Blue Ash–Silverton local service, along with several other route enhancements scheduled to take effect August 17.
Public meetings will be held:
- July 14 5-7 p.m. Downtown Public Library 3 South Room A, served by all Metro downtown routes
- July 15 5-7 p.m. – Westwood Public Library meeting room, served by Rts. 6 and 21
- July 16 6-8 p.m. – Blue Ash Public Library meeting room
- July 17 – Virtual meetings
- 10 a.m. | Register
- 4 p.m. | Register
Feedback can also be submitted online or by email at routecomments@go-metro.com. To be included in the final decision-making process by the Metro Board, all comments must be received by 11:59 p.m. on July 18, 2025.
Other service improvements include:
- Rt. 37 MLK-Westwood: Will run all day and on weekends from approximately 6 a.m. – 10 p.m., with approximately 40-45-minute frequency in off-peak times. Weekend frequency will be approximately 60 minutes.
- Rt. 71X Kings Island Express will run in both directions all day with more direct service to Kenwood Mall on weekdays. The route will also run on weekends during Kings Island’s season to provide service to the park.
- Other routes with proposed service improvements include: Rts. 2, 3X, 11, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23X, 25, 27, 28, 29X, 40, 41, 65, 72X, 74X
