Metro Board Reinforces Continuity with Leadership Re-election

The Cincinnati Metro Board of Trustees has re-elected Blake Ethridge as chair and Sara Sheets as vice-chair of the board.

Mr. Ethridge is a highly respected member of the community and brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to advancing public transportation. He currently serves as Vice President of Service Strategy and Performance for SendaRide, a transportation service provider that makes a meaningful impact on those who need it most. Previously, he served in various managerial and leadership roles for VRI and First Transit. Mr. Ethridge received his B.A. in Chemistry and Political Science from Goucher College and his M.A. in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Ethridge has served on the board of trustees for six years.

Sara Sheets is Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Cincinnati Development Fund, a Community Development Financial Institution. With 25 years in Cincinnati community development, she previously served as the founding Executive Director of the Madisonville Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation, leading affordable housing, historic rehabilitation, and mixed-use community development initiatives. She serves on the boards of Cincinnati Neighborhood Business Districts United and MCURC, and holds degrees from Ohio Wesleyan University and UCLA.
