Metro service alerts are now in the Transit App
Metro delivers all service and route alerts through the Transit App, the free mobile tool that helps riders plan trips, track buses in real time, pay, and receive updates for their favorite routes.
To get alerts that matter to you, download the Transit App and pin the routes you ride.
After opening the Transit App, tap to select your frequently used routes.Â
After selecting your route, pin the route by tapping the the thumb tack icon.
Select your timing preference, and you are all set to receive route alerts. If there is a distruption in service for this route, you will receive a notification from the Transit App.
Open settings in the upper left hand corner of the Transit App, scroll down to Favorites, and tap Transit Lines.
Adjust your service alert settings or unpin any routes you no longer wish to receive notifications for.
