The Flying Pig Marathon takes place this weekend, May 2 and 3, with many Metro routes operating on detour. 

Saturday, May 2 – Flying Pig 5K,10K

Rts. 27 and 28 will be on detour for these races from approximately 6:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. 

Sunday, May 3 – Flying Pig Marathon           

From approximately 5 a.m. until 3 p.m. several Metro routes will be on detour.

The following routes will be on detour and board in the Central Business District on 9^th Street BEFORE Vine Street: Rts. 4, 10, 11, 16, 17, 19, 20, 28, 43, 46, 78

The following routes will be on detour and board in the Central Business District on 9^th Street AFTER Vine Street: Rts. 6, 21, 27, 32, 33, 49, 64, 77

These Stops are closed in the Central Business District during the Flying Pig Marathon:

Government Square A, B, C, D, F, H

Stops on 6th west of Main St.

Stops on 4th between Sycamore and Central Ave.

Stops on Vine between 4th and 9th St.

Stops on Main St. between 4th and Liberty St.

Stops on Walnut between 9th and 4th St.

Stops on Race St. between 9th and 4th St.

Stops on 7th between Central Ave and Broadway

The following routes will also be on detour in areas along the race course:

• Rt. 24
• Rt. 31
• Rt. 51

Detours will be lifted shortly after the event concludes. Riders are encouraged to download the Transit app for real-time bus tracking, service alerts, and route updates.
