Metro is excited to once again kick off the holiday shopping season with free rides on all Metro fixed-route and Access paratransit services on Black Friday, November 28, 2025. The fare-free day encourages riders to shop local, skip the parking stress, and enjoy an easy, affordable way to get around during one of the busiest shopping days of the year.

“This holiday season, Metro is helping riders save money and travel with ease,” said Brandy Jones, Metro’s Chief Communications and Marketing Officer. “Whether you’re shopping, visiting loved ones, or enjoying local events, Metro makes it simple to get where you need to go.”

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, Metro’s fixed-route, Access, and MetroNow! services will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Metro’s administrative and sales offices will be closed that day.
