Metro Increases Pay, Benefits To Recruit More Drivers

CINCINNATI – A job application could result in paid training, a competitive starting wage, and a signing bonus at Metro’s upcoming career fair this Saturday, Nov. 13, in Queensgate.
As part of our ongoing efforts to address a continued driver shortage and to help keep up with expanding service, Metro is actively recruiting new bus operators to join our team. Metro operators enjoy competitive pay benefits, including:
– Paid training at $18 per hour, which includes CDL training and reimbursement for CDL licensing fees
– Once trained, a starting wage of $19.55 per hour
– $2,000 signing bonus upon completion of training and a 95-day probationary period
– Potential to earn up to $27 per hour within first five years
Metro also provides comprehensive health and dental benefits, retirement benefits and free transportation passes for a spouse and dependents.
