CINCINNATI – Metro’s taking the guess work out of catching your bus with the launch of the Real-Time Info Line and Bus Tracker feature today.
Real-Time Info Line
By calling the Real-Time Info Line riders can now check bus arrival times for a specific bus stop, get information on the most recent bus that passed that stop and request scheduled time info for future dates of travel. The info line may be accessed by calling 513-621-4455 from any phone and selecting Option 1. When prompted, riders simply enter the four-digit code found on the lower right corner of each bus stop sign to get stop specific information in both English and Spanish.
Bus Tracker
Like the Real-Time Info Line, Bus Tracker uses Metro’s GPS-based, real-time bus schedule information to give riders a visual map of buses and stops on particular routes letting you see whether your bus is on schedule or delayed due to traffic, from any desktop. Bus Tracker can be accessed from Metro’s website at www.go-metro.com.
Real-time Apps
Riders are also invited to download the free Bus Detective or Transit App available on smartphones and tablets to get real-time bus arrival info in the palm of their hand.
For additional information on using these features, please visit Metro’s website at http://www.go-metro.com/riding-metro/real-time-bus-tracker-infoline or call 513-621-4455, weekdays 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Metro is a non-profit, tax-funded public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 17 million rides per year.
