CINCINNATI – One pass. One day. Unlimited rides.

Metro is introducing new day passes starting Nov. 2. They will be for sale on all buses and at Metro’s Sales Office.

Metro day passes are perfect for visitors, occasional riders and anyone who wants to ride Metro frequently throughout the day without worrying about exact change or transfers.

Day passes allow unlimited rides on Metro from first use until 3 a.m. the next day. Passes cost $4.50 for Zone 1 (within City of Cincinnati) and $6.30 for Zone 2, and when using the pass, no transfers are needed

On-Bus Purchases
Bus riders should request a day pass from the operator before paying their fare or using a stored-value card. Riders can purchase a Zone 1 or 2 day pass on any bus route, at any time, not just routes operating in those zones. Day passes are activated at purchase.

Sales Office Purchases
Bus riders may pre-purchase day passes from the sales office, 120 East 4th Street downtown across from Government Square, weekdays 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., and use them at a later date.

The 3 a.m. expiration date is not set until it is activated (by inserting it into the slot on top of the farebox on the bus). Once activated, swipe it every time you ride (just like a 30-day rolling pass).

Day passes are not accepted for half-fare rides on Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK). For more information, visit go-metro.com/fare-information.

Metro is a non-profit, tax-funded public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 17 million rides per year in Greater Cincinnati.
