Braces for your teenager, granite countertops, college tuition, a trip to Hawaii... you could save $4,500 a year or more if you go Metro.
What would you do with the money you save by riding Metro?
Answer that question and you could win up to $4,500 in a Money Grab on Aug. 29, sponsored by Cricket Wireless. No public or Metro funds are being used for the Money Grab.
On June 16, the Money Grab contest, sponsored by Cricket Wireless, kicks off on Fountain Square. Spin a wheel of prizes to win Metro items, Cricket Wireless merchandise, or even a chance to go inside a money machine to grab as many flying bus passes and Cricket Wireless coupons as possible in 30 seconds.
From June 16 through Aug. 19, 2011, people can enter the contest to win a shot at grabbing up to $4,500 in cash; the entry form will be online at www.go-metro.com. At the conclusion of the contest, three lucky winners will have the chance to go into a money machine filled with $4,500, provided by Cricket Wireless through a transit advertising package.
The promotion is designed to remind commuters how much money they can save by riding Metro instead of driving.
