CINCINNATI – Starting Nov. 1, Metro is extending the duration of a transfer to 120 minutes (two hours) from the time the transfer is issued. Currently, transfers are good for 90 minutes.
This change is being made based on customer and bus operator feedback to allow Metro riders more time to change buses. Transfers are good on any route, any direction. Each transfer is valid for up to two bus changes during the two-hour transfer time limit.
Metro transfers will remain $0.50 and must be requested from the bus operator when fare is paid upon boarding.
Metro is a non-profit, tax-funded public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 17 million rides per year. Learn more at www.go-metro.com.
