Metro’s Safety Committee will be at Government Square’s Area D on Walnut Street, on Wednesday, June 19, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., for its Community Outreach Day.
The committee, which includes bus drivers, maintenance, and administrative employees, will be there to answer questions from the public and to let passengers “see from the driver’s perspective” by sitting in the bus driver’s seat.
Customers will walk away with some helpful safety tips to use the next time they catch the bus.
