The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority has elected Suzanne Burke as Chair of the SORTA board for 2013. Karl Schultz was elected Vice Chair.
CINCINNATI – The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority has elected Suzanne Burke as Chair of the SORTA board for 2013. Karl Schultz was elected Vice Chair.
Suzanne Burke: Burke is Chief Executive Officer of Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio. She also serves on the boards of Every Child Succeeds and ITN Greater Cincinnati. Burke joined the SORTA Board in 2011.
Karl Schultz: Schultz is a member of the Miami Township, Clermont County, Board of Trustees. He also serves as a member of the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Planning Authority (OKI) board of directors. He joined the SORTA Board in 2010.

SORTA operates Metro fixed-route transit service and Access paratransit service for people whose disabilities prevent their riding Metro buses. Metro and Access provide about 17 million rides per year in Greater Cincinnati.
