Larry Pinkelton 

Chief Financial Officer

Larry Pinkelton is Chief Financial Officer of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) and is responsible for overseeing the transit agency’s $195 million dollar operating budget, $78 million dollar capital budget, accounting, financial reporting, audit, treasury management activities, and grants administration.

Mr. Pinkelton brings more than 35 years of experience to the role, most recently serving as CFO of Easterseals of Greater Cincinnati. Before that, he held senior financial leadership positions in the corporate and financial services sectors as well as, more recently, higher education. Most notably, Mr. Pinkelton served as Acting Chief Financial Officer of Northern Illinois University, where he led efforts to reshape the operating expense base that facilitated an increased commitment towards long term investment in academic programing.

A Cincinnati native, Mr. Pinkelton earned his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Cincinnati and his M.B.A. in Applied Business Economics from Xavier University.

He lives in Fairfield Township with his wife and son.
