Paul Grether

Vice President, Transit Operations
Paul Grether is the Vice President of Operations for the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (Metro) in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has fourteen years of professional experience in the transit industry.

At Metro, Paul manages the Authority’s Bus Operations, Scheduling and Radio Control Center. Prior to Metro, Paul worked at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) in various functions including FTA program management, rail, bus and paratransit planning, and program management of the Atlanta Streetcar project. Paul started at Metro as the Manager of Rail Services and led efforts for start-up and ongoing operations of the Cincinnati Bell Connector (Cincinnati Streetcar). Paul is the immediate past Chair of the American Public Transportation Association Streetcar Committee. Paul is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with degrees in Industrial Management and City and Regional Planning.
