Metro on Regular Schedule for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
CINCINNATI – Metro and Access will operate on a regular schedule on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 18. Metro call center is open, but Metro administrative offices and the sales office are closed for the day.
Metro is on a regular schedule because many businesses are open and the reduced level of holiday service would make it difficult or impossible for many people to get to work. Metro’s fare is the same every day.
On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Metro’s bus dedicated to Rosa Parks will participate in the 40th Annual Commemorative March, sponsored by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Coalition of Greater Cincinnati on Monday. The march is open to the public and begins at the Freedom Center at 10:30 a.m., proceeds to Fountain Square, and on to Music Hall. For more information about this event, visit www.mlkcoalition.org.
For complete bus information, call Metro at 513-621-4455, weekdays 6:30 a.m. to
6 p.m. or visit www.go-metro.com.
Metro is a non-profit, tax-funded public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 17 million rides per year.
