Metro to hold "Stuff The Bus" Food Drive on Nov. 15

Help Metro stuff the bus with food for families in need

CINCINNATI – Metro needs your help to stuff a 40 ft. bus with non-perishable food items to feed families in need this holiday season.

On Sunday, Nov. 15 from 11a.m.-3 p.m., Metro will be at the Anderson Kroger, 7580 Beechmont Ave., collecting food items that will be donated to the Freestore Foodbank.

The Q102 Heart and Soul Patrol will be helping the community get into the holiday spirit with a live remote from the event.

Look for the Metro bus and staff who will be on hand to collect the most needed items, including:

  • Canned meat products
  • Peanut butter
  • Canned vegetables and fruits
  • Canned soups
  • Boxed meals
  • Macaroni and cheese
  • Personal care items
  • Paper products
