Ron Mosby joins S.O.R.T.A. Board of Trustees

Ron Mosby, Executive Director for Journey to Liberty, a non-profit, faith-based organization that provides services to those seeking life improvement, joined the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority’s board of trustees.

Ron Mosby, Executive Director for Journey to Liberty, a non-profit, faith-based organization that provides services to those seeking life improvement, joined the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority’s board of trustees.

Mr. Mosby also hosts the weekly radio show, “Glimpses of the Kingdom” that airs on WGRI, Inspirational 1050 AM. Previously, he served as Senior Manager of Public Affairs for Wal-mart, where he oversaw government and public relations for more than 140 stores throughout Ohio. He has also held the role of Public Information Officer for the Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 8 and served as Chief of Staff for three former Cincinnati City Council members.

Mr. Mosbly is a pillar of the community, he serves on the North College Hill City Council and is an Elder with the Ekklesia of the Lord Jesus Christ, a fellowship that meets in the Northside area.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from the University of Cincinnati and is a graduate of the United States Navy Officer Candidate School.

Mr. Mosby resides in North College Hill with his wife Cynthia.

Metro is a non-profit, tax-funded public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 17 million rides per year.
