CINCINNATI — Get on board with Metro!
Metro wants to jumpstart careers by hiring future leaders, coach operators, fleet mechanics and administrative personnel. These positions are available due to long-time employee retirements and promotions within the organization.
With more than 40 years in the transit industry, Metro has established itself as a rewarding place to work and a great place for professionals to establish and build their careers. Metro is a major tri-state employer with nearly 850 employees.
Coach operators (also known as bus drivers) have a very important role as the “face” of Metro as they connect with the community. Fleet mechanics are the backbone of efficient operations, and administrative personnel are key to providing top notch support. Metro works hard to foster an environment that is not only engaging and rewarding but provides excellent health, dental and retirement and many other benefits.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Coach operator applicants must possess a valid or temporary Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Metro provides a robust training program. For more information and to apply, visit http://www.go-metro.com/jobs.
Metro is a non-profit, tax-funded public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 17 million rides per year.
