Several Metro routes will detour downtown
CINCINNATI – Traffic is guaranteed on Opening Day, Monday, March 31, but Metro provides a convenient alternative to fighting the crowds.
Most Metro routes serve downtown. Metro’s newest service, Metro*Plus, provides access to The Banks, with a bus stop only blocks away from Great American Ball Park. Metro*Plus has frequent service with buses running every 15 minutes weekdays 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. and every 30 minutes weekdays 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Several Metro routes will detour downtown for the annual Findlay Market Opening Day parade. For complete detour and service information, visit http://www.go-metro.com/service-detours or call Metro at 513-621-4455, weekdays 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Detours are also posted via Twitter at https://twitter.com/cincinnatimetro.
Metro in Findlay Market Opening Day Parade
Metro’s brand new “baby bus,” Hydi the Hybrid, will be in the parade in Red’s-themed decor. Parade attendees will also see a Reds-themed Metro trolley in the parade. Parade details can be found at http://www.findlaymarketparade.com.
Metro is a non-profit, tax-funded public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 17 million rides per year in Greater Cincinnati.
