Metro on Holiday Schedule on Labor Day, Sept. 2

Metro and Access buses will operate on a holiday/Sunday schedule on Monday, Sept. 2, in observation of Labor Day. Metro will run regular Sunday service during Riverfest (no special service). Detours will be listed on the website.

CINCINNATI – Metro buses will operate on a holiday/Sunday schedule on Monday, Sept. 2, in observation of Labor Day. Access specialized service for people with disabilities will also operate on a holiday schedule on Sept. 2. Metro’s administrative offices, call center, and sales office will be closed.

Metro’s new Metro*Plus service (a weekday service) will not run on Sept. 2.

Metro will not operate special bus service for the 2013 Riverfest. On Sept. 1, regular Metro Sunday service will operate to and from downtown, serving many communities. Customers may choose to ride regular Metro service to downtown and walk to the riverfront. Route detours during Riverfest will be posted on www.go-metro.com.

Metro is a non-profit, tax-funded public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 17 million rides per year.
