SILVER TOKENS NO LONGER ACCEPTED BEGINNING SUNDAY, MARCH 9
CINCINNATI - As part of Metro's recent fare increase, silver bus tokens - good for the old $1 base fare - will no longer be accepted as Metro fare, effective Sunday, March 9. Until then, customers may use a $1 silver token with an extra $0.50 to pay the new $1.50 base fare.
Customers with $1 silver tokens may exchange them for new $1.50 tokens (with appropriate co-payment) at Metro’s sales office, 120 E. Fourth Street, Mercantile Building arcade downtown, weekdays 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. No cash refunds will be given. Deadline to exchange tokens is Friday, March 7.
