TANK WINS "STUFF THE BUS" COMPETITION|
Local food pantries and those in need are the real winners

CINCINNATI - Thanks to the generosity of the community, the shelves at local food pantries are a little more full this morning as the result of the Metro-TANK "Stuff the Bus" competition on Saturday, Dec. 8.

In the end, the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) collected slightly more non-perishable food items than Metro, so this year’s winner is TANK. Food was collected on buses parked at the Hyde Park Kroger and Burlington Kroger this past Saturday.

All non-perishable food items on the Metro bus were donated to St. Vincent de Paul in Cincinnati and all food collected by TANK were donated to Be Concerned food pantry in Covington.

The Metro-TANK "Stuff the Bus" food drive was in partnership with WARM-98.
