Metro bus dedicated to Rosa Parks will be in MLK Day march downtown
CINCINNATI On Monday, Jan. 15, Metro will distribute fliers featuring excerpts from the famous “I Have a Dream” speech by Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Government Square information booth at the corner of Fifth and Walnut streets downtown, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The fliers are free to the public.
In addition, one of the new low-floor Metro buses dedicated to Rosa Parks will participate in the 32nd Annual Commemorative March, sponsored by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Coalition of Greater Cincinnati on Monday. The march begins at the Freedom Center at 10 a.m., proceeds to Fountain Square, and on to Music Hall.
Metro will operate regular service on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Metro call center will be open, but Metro administrative offices and the sales office will be closed.
